Lose weight by eating early

Lose weight by eating early

If you are dieting and eat soon, probably lose more weight than those who delay lunchtime, at least according to a study in Spain that has been published in the International Journal of Obesity.

The finding does not prove that extend meal time will lead to weight loss, but it is possible that times have an important role in how the body controls and regulates weight, according to scientists.

"We must take seriously decomer time, not just what we eat, but also when they eat," said study co-author Frank Scheer, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston.

The test took 420 people who tried their overweight nutrition clinics in Spain. In addition to regularly attend group therapy sessions to advise on nutrition and exercise to lose weight, participants were measured, weighed and recorded their weight and physical activity every day.

Participants kept only one type of Mediterranean diet, making about 40% of the daily intake through lunch. Almost half of them commented eat before 3:00 pm and half, after this time.

After 20 weeks of study, all study subjects ate the same amount of food and burned a similar amount of calories through daily exercise. However, they had lunch before they had a tendency to lose about 10 pounds, just over 11 percent of its weight in the beginning, while those who ate later fell 7.7 kilos, equivalent to 9 percent by weight initially.

What was taken as breakfast or lunch, did not exert any influence on weight loss. One limitation of the study is that the researchers did not assign the lunch at random, so that might have other important differences between those who ate at other times.

Anyway, what is essential is itself properly distributes calories consumed throughout the day properly, leaving that dinner is lighter than the others.
