Ingredients:

Four large artichokes
Four cloves of garlic
Fresh Herbs
The juice of half a lemon
Water or broth for cooking
A stream of olive oil
Salt and pepper
Preparation:

Thoroughly clean the artichokes, removing the leaves that are very hard and stems. If you get really big artichoke hearts, then you can choose to directly use them directly. Cut artichokes in half and place them in the steamer, preferably bamboo. Alongside them, place half the minced garlic and some fresh herbs, which will give much flavor: parsley, sage, rosemary, etc.. Do not forget to rub them with a little lemon juice, which gives good flavor and prevents browning.

Put to boil in steam engine you have, with water or vegetable broth. When they are tender, steamed artichokes are ready to be devoured.
